The Three Root Extraction Forceps (Off Side, 12″) are a scaled-down, mini version of our standard forceps, featuring a more compact forceps head size and a shorter length. Designed with three slightly rounded grasping hooks—two positioned on the corners of one side and one centered on the opposing side—this instrument provides optimal leverage when extracting cheek teeth in older horses with diminished, smaller crowns. This specialized geometry is also highly effective for removing premolar caps, ensuring the clean extraction of the entire deciduous tooth.
Anatomical Alignment & Application: To mirror the natural anatomical alignment of the tooth roots, the two-hook side of the extractor must be placed on the outside of the tooth, while the single-hook side is positioned on the inside.
This "Off" Side Model: Features two hooks on the right side and one hook on the left side (when holding the instrument facing upward). This configuration is anatomically dedicated for precise use on the upper left and lower right dental arcades.
Perfectly proportioned for smaller or miniature equine dental procedures without sacrificing gripping power, each order is dispatched in safe and secure packing to guarantee it arrives in pristine, ready-to-use condition.
