The Three Root Extraction Forceps (On Side, 12″) are a scaled-down version of our standard forceps(PTE 0304) , featuring a smaller length and a more compact forceps head size. Designed with three slightly rounded grasping hooks—two on the corners of one side and one centered on the opposing side—this instrument provides exceptional leverage when extracting cheek teeth in older horses with diminished, smaller crowns. This specialized design is also highly effective for removing premolar caps, assisting in the clean extraction of the entire deciduous tooth.
Anatomical Alignment & Application: To mirror the natural anatomical alignment of the tooth roots, the two-hook side of the extractor is placed on the outside of the tooth, while the single-hook side is placed on the inside.
This "On" Side Model: Features one hook on the right side and two hooks on the left side (when the instrument is held facing upward). This configuration is anatomically dedicated for use on the upper right and lower leftdental arcades.
