The Three Root Extraction Forceps feature a highly specialized design with three slightly rounded grasping hooks: two positioned on the corners of one side and one centered on the opposite side. This specific configuration provides optimal leverage for extracting cheek teeth in older horses that have diminished, smaller crowns. Furthermore, it significantly assists in the removal of premolar caps, facilitating the complete extraction of the entire deciduous tooth.
Anatomical Alignment & Positioning: To properly match the natural anatomical alignment of the tooth roots, the forceps must be positioned precisely:
The two-hook side of the extractor is placed against the outside of the tooth.
The single-hook side is placed against the inside of the tooth.
Arcade Configurations:
"Off" Side Model: An extraction forceps configured with two hooks on the right side and one hook on the left(with the instrument facing upward) is designed specifically for use on the upper left and lower right dental arcades.
"On" Side Model: A forceps configured with one hook on the right side and two hooks on the left is designed specifically for use on the upper right and lower left dental arcades.
Engineered for professional precision and clinical durability, each instrument is dispatched in safe and secure packing to ensure it arrives in pristine, ready-to-use condition.
